Rael (Gold Coast)
The singer Rael started writing his story as a rapper with the group Pentagono, that went on to become reference for the national rap scene. In 2010, lauched his first solo album, “MP3 – Música Popular do Terceiro Mundo” [Third world popular music in English], touring Canadá with that album. In 2013 came “Ainda bem que eu segui as batidas do meu coração” [Good thing I followed the beats from my heart], after touring with the álbum, Rael was invited to play at Joe’s Pub in New York. The venue is known for receiving Amy Winehouse’s first America concert, and to have hosted names such as Adele, Mos Def and Norah Jones. In 2014, he launched the EP “Diversoficando” in an unseen way: his work was made available to the public for audition in walls on the streets of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the devices on the walls were installed by Rael himself. The EP made the news all across Brazil and in 2015 Rael released his biggest hit, Envolvidão. His hit surpasses 80 million views on youtube. His new project “Coisas do meu Imaginário”, was produced by Daniel Ganjaman and colaborations with Chico César, Ogi and Black Alien, among others.
